Hi Guys/Gals
Just curious to know, how hard it is to move domino from 1 Linux server to another Linux server (RedHat 7.2) Domino 6.0.1. IP address and host name will be the same after i move the entire notesdata directory.
Is it like Nt/2000? where you can install a brand new copy of Domino on the new server, rename teh data directory and notes.ini files and just copy the DATA directory and notes.ini from the old server to the new server then start the service or console?
if so, which directory?
if not, and all the above is wrong, please, please advise on the steps.
i have done it for nt/2000 heaps of times, not sure on Linux, as you can see i am new to Linux. i getting a Linux guru to help me..
